She Just Won't GO AWAY

(It's been awhile since I've vented steam in a "Tiffany Takes On" post, but my blood is just boiling right now...)

CNN.com is reporting that the Barack Obama campaign has agreed to place Hillary Clinton's name in the roll call during the Democratic National Convention later this month. Clinton reportedly wants her name listed in nomination so that the voices of her supporters are not forgotten. Obama is apparently trying to bring healing to the party.

OH, BALONEY.

Seriously, folks. Woman, you lost. LOST. People saw you for the slimy, weasly, loud-mouthed witch with more wiles than scruples that you are and you didn't get enough votes to become the Democratic nominee. The fact that you lost means that you need to go away now. Far, far away. Hopefully, the voters in November will also send the actual Democratic nominee packing as well, and hopefully he'll then have the good grace to go far, far away. But for now, Miss Hillary, it's time to bow the hell out.

ARGH.

  1. I agree, Hillary needs to stop and go away. Enough already!

  2. Actually, the case can be made that Hillary was winning more toward the end of the primaries than the big O.

The media just got caught up in early showing caucuses and ran with it.

I do enjoy the irony of Obama showing he's just another politician since the primaries though... he's anything but change. Just another empty suit.

  3. I wish she would get the picture and understand that in the BIG pictrue she hasn't got what the voters really want. I cannot believe that they will include her name, but I am certain she doesn't have enough backing to overtake Obama for the party backing. I HOPE!

  4. I have always been mystified that HRC was even in from the beginning. Anytime I encountered a Hillery supporter I saw an otherwise intelligent person(or not) duped by a master deceiver. The Clinton's whom I refer collectively as BILLERY are the most despicable pettifogging self-absorbed people ever to hit politics. There string of malfeasance stretches deep into the ARK days. Oh bye the way, Bush did not start this war,Clinton did by not being strong enough in first place. Guess he was to busy chasing interns. How can you tell a Clinton is lying.....

  5. That's an easy one, Anon! "When he opens his mouth!"

Thanks for coming by and commenting - wish I knew who you were so I could return the visit, but I hope you'll be back to see me again! :-)

  6. I thought the Billery thing was the best part. If I was harsh on the Clinton's I just do not see any other way to look at it. They are so transparent I am in awe that so many support them.

  7. Common Sense USA...I don't think it would be possible to be too harsh on Billery. It truly is amazing that they have so many people convinced over how great they are. Bill Clinton as a great president and the savior of the 1990s? Don't make me spit! The man could screw up a 1 car funeral and then make it look like a royal dinner in cover-up. Our nation is far better off to have sent Hillary packing early on.

  8. Well Tiffany It seems we are on the same page with regards to the Clinton's. Every time I hear about what a great Perez he was , It's always about the economy. If I'm not mistaken wasn't Alan Greenspan who had control of that. Any reasonably intelligent person with that much power can accomplish a few good things. However the fact remains Bill Clinton doe's not have a honorable bone in his body. Probably because he spent most of his time and energy trying to stick his bone in someone else's body.......And now for Hillery. Never in my 46 yrs have I witnessed a more transparent ego-maniacal reprobate, she will say anything to anyone to get elected, With seemingly total disregard that it was in complete contrast to something she said a few days before. That is the Billery gift, telling people what they want to hear, which appeals to the rather large segment of the population who feel the govt is here to fix all their problems and make them happy. Check your headgear people, the role of the Govt is to provide a stable and secure setting for the operation of a commercial society, not to provide you with happiness and prosperity. The general feeling of entitlement in America is getting kinda ugly.....

  9. I don't really think it's possible for an upright man to remain that way in today's political climate. Politics just makes me sick! To me, I just see it as a no-win situation and all we can do is vote our conscience and hope for the best AND Pray continually for our nation asking God for mercy and wisom for our leaders!

  10. I think you're right - the nature of politics can be soul-destroying. As I heard some one joke last week, think about the root words of politics: poli, meaniny many, and tics, meaning bloodsucking creatures.

  11. I'm not sure if this will improve karen&amp's outlook but it used to be much worse...... In the 20 yrs preceding the civil war there were numerous fist fights and beatings in the congressional chambers, one man was almost beat to death with a cane, suffering perm brain damage. Furthermore one of my ancestors (Jonathan Prince Cilley) was killed in a duel resulting from arguments derived in chambers...imagian seeing that on C-Span

  12. Tiff, It's Timo. I just discovered your blog, thanks to our mutual friend. I just had to comment on this Hillary thing. I think your vision is blurred by your hatred for Hillary. Her being on the ballot was not about her. It was about those countless die-hard Hillary fans that deserved some recognition for their hard work. If it was, say, Giuliani who won the republican popular vote and came a very close second to the nominee, and you were one of his volunteers who spent months of your hard work, sweat, tears and countless hours trying to get him elected, you would want to have some recognition. If it was Rudy, you would understand, but since it's Hillary, your blood starts boiling. Better watch your blood pressure Tiff. LOL

  13. Hey, Timo! Thanks for stopping by! Careful...you might get caught up in some of my other political rants as well!!! Although, since this is the internet and not, say, TGI Friday's, there's little chance of being asked to quiet down or leave - hahaha!

In the case of the Republican party, several challengers gave McCain a run for his money - but there's been no talk of having their names included as Hillary's was. The Republicans also allot delegates differently, so what happened with the Dems would be a little more unlikely on the other side. But point taken - I would have loved to have seen Giuliani get more of the spotlight...but have you seen the choice in running mates? Should be, uh, interesting!

BP okay for now! Baby is only 4-6 weeks out...maybe still in time to get in some late season fun on the lake at your house?? Talk to you soon!

  14. Tiff,

I think it's you who needs to be careful, I may get carried away with your comments about health care in another thread. LOL

If you and the baby are up for some fun at the lake, by all means! Just don't tell Danielle or she will kill me! LOL
